CURATOR’S NOTES

These jeans are proof that vintage doesn’t have to be heavily worn to have character. The wash sits in that perfect middle blue that somehow feels classic in every decade.

WHY THESE CAME HOME

I almost didn’t bring these back from Austin because they’re so small. But the color is stunning. I think they’re absolutely lovely and surprisingly modern.

I also have a soft spot for tweens and early teens. There used to be entire stores and brands devoted to making quality clothes just for them, and that’s become harder to find.

Maybe these are for an avid vintage denim collector. Or maybe they’re for a 14-year-old who wants to come in and have a retail shopping experience.
